Crook Town Council

 

At a public meeting in September it was decided to go ahead with trying to form a Town Council for Crook. Since then a Steering Group has been formed to take the project forward. To get a Town Council we need over 800 signatures. The petition is available to sign at Crook Community Partnerships Office at 79 Hope Street.

 

Redevelopment of Glenhome Park

 

Over the past few weeks there has been consultation over what improvements should be made to Glenhome Park. Before April work on the park should be near completion, we should have further news in the next month or so.

 

Redevelopment of the Elite Hall

 

Plans are underway to redevelop the Elite. Over £500,000 has been set aside to undertake the work. It is expected that over the next few months more work will be going on. Already a new roof has been installed.
